01About these terms
These terms apply to aetheros.online and to the apps published there (together, “Aetheros”). Aetheros is run by Hoang Huynh aka Aetheros, Italy. By using Aetheros you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
02The service
Aetheros offers free web apps for people who make videos and podcasts, and Aetheros Offline, a free helper app for computers. Supporters earn a PRO status that unlocks extra features in each app.
The apps evolve often. We may add, change or remove features, and we will try to give notice when a change affects how you work.
03Your account
Use accurate details, keep access to your email and Google account to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. One account is for one person.
Sync, the calendar app, works only with an account; the people who book a Sync on a public page or are invited as guests need none. When you are signed in, the apps save your work to your account as well as on your device. You can remove it from a device or delete it with the account at any time from the account page.
04Age
You must be at least 14, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher, to create an account or use the AI features.
05Your content
Scripts, briefs, plans and everything else you create remain yours. We claim no rights over them.
When you use a feature that needs our service, you allow us to process the content you send only as far as needed to deliver that feature. You are responsible for having the right to use what you put into the apps.
When you invite guests to a tech check or write notes about them, you are responsible for their details: share the guest link only with the people you invite, and add to a brief only what the guest has made public or agreed to share.
06AI features
Some features use Anthropic’s Claude models to write or refine text, and to find moments and write graphics in Studio; transcription and AI pictures use OpenAI’s models. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to existing material. Review it before you publish, and verify every fact, figure, quote and name, starting with the passages the apps mark for checking. Transcripts can mishear words and mix up speakers: read them before you publish captions or quotes.
You are responsible for how you use the output. Do not use the AI features to create unlawful, deceptive or harmful content, and avoid sending other people’s personal data unless it is needed. Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s usage policies also apply. Stock files keep the licence of the library they come from (Pexels or Pixabay); Studio records it with each file and in your credits.
07The Workspace in Studio
The Workspace is a PRO feature of Studio (called Assets until 17 October 2026) that makes clips and motion graphics from your episodes. Each feature has one run per day; this limit may change with notice.
Use only footage you own or have the rights to, with the consent of the people who appear in it. Making clips of other people’s content to repost it is not allowed, and the download feature does not grant those rights.
Captions, titles, post texts and graphics are generated: review them before you publish. Content Studio marks as illustrative is not factual. Do not use Studio to mislead, to impersonate anyone or to put words in someone’s mouth.
B-roll is rendered on your computer by Aetheros Offline, under the section below.
The clips and graphics you make are yours. Credits: the motion engine is based on motion-broll by Bart (MIT licence); the fonts in graphics, Geist, Inter and JetBrains Mono, are under the SIL Open Font License; face detection is MediaPipe by Google (Apache 2.0).
08Aetheros Offline
Aetheros Offline is a desktop app that runs part of Studio’s work on your computer. We grant you a free, personal, non-exclusive and revocable licence to install it on computers you use and to run it with Aetheros. Share the download page rather than the files, so people get the current version and the install steps. Except where the law or an open source licence allows it, do not modify, decompile or redistribute the app.
It is in early access and provided as it is, to the extent the law allows. It reads the project folders you choose and writes new files into them; keep backups of your projects. You remain responsible for your footage and the rights in it, and the B-roll you render is yours. B-roll needs Studio PRO.
The builds are not yet signed by Apple or Microsoft, so your system warns you the first time you open each version. Download the app only from aetheros.online and compare the published SHA-256 checksum when in doubt. Updates are never installed automatically: the app tells you when one is ready, and you install it. Studio may ask for a newer version when an older one can no longer work with it.
The app includes open source components under their own licences, which apply to those components: FFmpeg under the GNU General Public License version 3, Electron under the MIT licence and Chromium under its licences. The licences page lists them, with their source code. We may stop offering the app or a version of it; you can uninstall it at any time.
09Downloads
The download feature is meant for content you own, content licensed to you, and material you are otherwise allowed to download, such as references for your own editing within the limits of the law. You are responsible for respecting copyright and the terms of the platforms you download from.
Aetheros does not host or distribute videos. Files are prepared on request, for the person who asked, and deleted shortly after. Links used to infringe rights may be blocked.
10Calendars and Sync
When you connect a calendar to Sync, you authorise Sync to read it and, for the calendars you let it write to, to create, move and delete the meetings and copies its rules call for, following the master calendar, the mode and the privacy you choose. You can change these choices or remove a calendar at any time.
Connect only calendars you are allowed to connect: a work calendar may be covered by your employer’s rules. You are responsible for the meetings and invitations you create through Sync, which your calendar provider sends from your own account, and for the details of other people your calendars contain.
Sync depends on Google, Microsoft and the other calendar services you connect. They can limit, pause or withdraw access, and a calendar may then stop updating until you connect it again. Sync can also get a change wrong: treat the calendar where a meeting was created as its reference, and check important meetings there. The privacy policy explains what Sync reads, stores and writes.
11Booking pages, guests and emails
Your booking page is public: anyone with its address can see your name, picture, opening line, open booking links and free times. Ask on it only what you need to arrange the meeting, and honour the bookings you accept, or cancel them through Sync so the other person is told.
Sync sends emails on your behalf to the people you arrange meetings with. Use them only for that: no newsletters, promotions or bulk messages, and invite only people who expect to hear from you. Each account can send a limited number of invitations a day. People can stop invitations and thank-yous with the link in the email; once they do, Sync does not write to them again, and you should not use Sync to reach them another way. What you write in agendas and in your email texts is your content and your responsibility.
If you book a Sync on someone’s page or are invited as a guest, the meeting is between you and the host, who decides whether it takes place and how it can change; Aetheros provides the tool. Use the private link in your confirmation to move or cancel, and reply to the email to reach the host.
Emails go out within a daily limit and may arrive the next day when it is reached. We may pause a booking page or Sync’s emails when they are used against these terms.
12Acceptable use
Use Aetheros fairly. In particular, do not:
- try to get around limits, the human check or the PRO status, or use automated tools to call our service;
- attack, overload or probe the service, or use it to reach other systems;
- use the apps for illegal content, harassment, spam or malware;
- use Sync’s booking pages or emails to collect data you do not need, to send unwanted messages or to pass yourself off as someone else;
- resell or repackage the service without our written permission.
13Fair-use limits
Features that use our service have limits per visitor and for the whole service, so that everyone gets a fair share. Studio has one run per feature per day, with limits inside a run. Sync’s emails also have a daily limit, and a daily number of invitations per account. Limits are shown in the apps when you reach them and may change over time.
14PRO and supporting
Supporting Aetheros is voluntary and happens on Buy Me a Coffee, under its terms. Supporters earn the PRO status; each app shows what PRO unlocks there.
PRO benefits may evolve as the apps grow. Refunds follow Buy Me a Coffee’s policy and the consumer law that applies to you.
15Availability and backups
Aetheros is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it running, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control. Your work is stored in your browser and, when you are signed in, in your account; the calendars you connect to Sync stay with their providers, and the meetings booked through your page are written into them. Keep regular backups of what matters with the save and export features in each app.
16Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits arising from the use of Aetheros. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer.
17Reports and copyright notices
To report a bug, a security issue, abuse or a copyright concern, including a clip or graphic made with Studio, use the report form. Include the link or app involved and enough detail for us to act. For copyright notices, add who owns the rights and how you are authorised to act for them.
18Suspension and termination
You can stop using Aetheros and delete your account at any time from the account page. To take Sync’s copies out of your calendars, remove your calendars in Sync before you delete the account. We may limit or suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
19Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Aetheros changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will announce it on the site before it applies.
20Applicable law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim before its courts.
